Camp Victory is an event outreach program between Victory Forge Military Academy and the Road to Victory Military Museum and brings a fun taste of boot camp life to any event or airshow, attracting crowds and amusing families all day long. Event organizers should not be concerned, repeat, not concerned because this isn’t any normal boot camp; this boot camp is serious FUN. ‘Camp Victory’ is a ‘kid friendly’ interactive activity that is actually an obstacle course complete with balance beams, pull up bars, low crawls, anti tank shooting gallery, and REAL drill instructors. Not just for the children, entire families are recruited on the spot to run the course and upon completion each recruit graduates.

‘Camp Victory’ has been attending area events and airshows for the past several years.  “Our mini boot camp is an attraction/event that all of our staff look forward to doing, said Colonel Alan Weierman, Commander of Victory Forge Military Academy in Port St Lucie. “To see the expressions on the faces of the kids when Lt. Fernandez, uniformed in Army fatigues complete with the  “Smokey Bear” hat tells them to fall in and then begins to instruct them on how to stand and salute, its priceless, I think the parents watching enjoy it even more,” added Weierman. Except for the admission into the airshow, Camp Victory is free to the public. However we reserve the right to ask for a donation per child running through the activities.

Military displays often include a wide assortment of historic military vehicles ranging from a Vietnam era Huey Helicopter, WWII 1943 GPW Jeep mounted with a 30 caliber machine gun, WWII 1943 M8 Greyhound armored car, WWII 1942 WLA Harley motorcycle, WWII 1943 Cushman Airborne scooter, WWII 1941 Command Post Trailer with Tractor, WWII weapons, uniforms & equipment and a Vietnam era Deuce and a half truck. Inside the WWII tractor/trailer Command Post is a museum of WWII artifacts, uniforms and photographs. (Depending on the location of the event the vehicles may vary.)

‘Camp Victory’ is a collaborative operation between Victory Forge Military Academy and The Road to Victory Military Museum. It also serves as a community awareness program of Victory Forge Military Academy, ‘Camp Victory’ is an entertaining and creative activity for families while letting them know about the programs and services they offer. Victory Forge Military Academy based in Port St. Lucie is a program that assists young men 13-17 to gain control of negative and life controlling behaviors.
